When you contact Calla Training, you may have concerns about how we handle any personal data you give us. This section will outline exactly what we do with your data and why so you can have complete confidence in becoming a Calla Training trainee.

At Calla Training, we only request personal information for one reason, and that’s to make sure you get the best possible experience at every stage of your aesthetics journey with us. You can rest assured that we never share any of your information with any third parties and never will, and only use your data to help us manage our courses. 

We also take steps to protect your data and ensure your privacy is respected in line with the requirements of GDPR. We’ll tell you exactly how we do that below.

Who are we and what do we do?

 

First things first, we’re Calla Training, a provider of clinical aesthetic injectable therapies training courses for medical and non-medical practitioners. Our courses cover both the theoretical and practical application of injectable dermal fillers and botulinum toxin.

What data we collect? 

 

We may collect personal data when you contact us via email, phone, through our website, by post or by submitting contact or feedback forms. The only data we collect is standard personal information that we need to be able to identify you and manage our relationship with you. That includes:

  • Address
  • Contact information – email address and/or telephone number
  • Employment/profession – i.e. medical or non-medical
  • Payment information

At Calla Training, we process your personal information to help us manage our relationship with you and to improve our services and marketing.   • To meet your training requirements and ensure our courses are tailored to your needs e.g., providing course information for medics and non-medics and meeting your dietary requirements.
  • To contact you as required, which may include course reminders, requesting further information and informing you of the location of your course.
  • To supply you with any information you may require by post.
  • With your permission, we may also use your personal data for marketing purposes, such as giving you further information about our courses or sending you discounts and offers.

    We will never send you spam or marketing material that you have not agreed to. You can also opt out of receiving marketing information at any time by emailing [email protected].  

Which third party do we share your data with? 

We will never share your data with any third parties unless we have your permission or are required to do so by law e.g., if our records are requested by HMRC.

How long do we hold your data? 

We keep your personal data on record for the minimum time that is deemed necessary to manage our relationship with you.

  • For accounting purposes, we must hold payment information for at least 12 months according to the requirements of the law and HMRC.
  • We safely dispose of your payment card security number as soon as we have processed a transaction.

How do we keep your information secure?

All the data we hold is stored securely on our servers. We safeguard your information and put measures in place to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of any personal data. We never share your data with third parties and never leave it vulnerable to attack.

What are your data privacy rights?

  • Right to be forgotten – In certain circumstances, you can ask for the data we hold about you to be removed from our records.
  • Right of rectification – If any of the details we hold about you are inaccurate or incomplete, you can ask for them to be corrected.
  • Right of portability – You can ask for the data we hold about you to be transferred to another organisation.
  • Right to object – You can object to certain types of data processing such as direct marketing.
  • Right to restriction of process – You can apply to restrict our processing of your data where certain conditions apply.
  • Right to complain – You have the right to complain if we have not complied with our privacy notice or with your rights of access request. You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), although it’s recommended by the ICO that you should contact us at [email protected] to give us the chance to resolve your complaint first.
